Skoda has revealed the new RS Race Concept, an evolution of last year’s performance-oriented Enyaq concept. Unlike the previous version, which debuted in October 2024 and was based on the pre-facelift Enyaq, the new concept is built on the updated, facelifted version. It is lightweight from its predecessor, weighing around 316 kg with extensive use of bio-composite materials infused with flax fibres. These lightweight materials are found in the bumpers, fenders, roof, rear wing, dashboard, door panels, and footrests. Further weight savings come from its polycarbonate windows. The lighter design helps the concept go from 0 to 100km/h in 4.6 seconds, 0.9 seconds faster than the standard Enyaq. Read on for more details.
Skoda has transformed its facelifted Enyaq Coupe RS into the eye-catching RS Race Concept, with heavy inspiration from motorsport. The car has muscular bumpers, new vents, and high-performance aerodynamic wings. It has notably widened wheel arches to fit bigger wheels.
The redesigned roof and large rear diffuser work together to boost stability, while the streamlined side mirrors add a clean look and cut down on drag. The look is completed with a vivid rally-inspired livery. The concept rolls on lightweight 20-inch wheels. Compared to the standard model, the concept sits 70mm lower, with the front widened by 72mm and the rear expanded by 116mm.
In true racing fashion, the RS Race Concept’s interior has been completely stripped down and purpose-built for performance. It features racing bucket seats, a full roll cage, a bespoke drive selector, an automatic fire suppression system, and a Havas sound system.

Despite the minimalist interior, a 5-inch digital gauge display and a 13-inch central infotainment screen remain.
Equipped for the track, the car boasts carbon-ceramic brakes–with powerful ten-piston callipers up front and four-piston at the back, supported by an advanced cooling system for consistent performance. The chassis is protected by skid plates that safeguard vital components, including the battery. The concept’s fully adjustable racing suspension allows for precise tuning of compression, rebound, and spring rates. There are also limited-slip differentials on both front and rear axles.
For ultimate precision and control, the chassis has been finely tuned and paired with a brand-new high-performance braking system. The car features a rally-inspired pedal setup along with a hydraulic handbrake taken from the Fabia RS Rally2. The steering now uses a linear system enhanced with rally-tuned software, swapping out the usual progressive setup for crisper, more immediate feedback.

On the mechanical front, the concept uses the same robust 330bhp dual-motor electric drivetrain as the road car. The top speed also stands at 180km/h.
