Skoda Slavia, Kushaq Elegance Editions Launched in India; Price Starts from Rs 17.52 Lakh

Skoda Auto India has launched the Elegance editions of the Slavia and the Kushaq, priced at Rs 17.52 lakh and Rs 18.31 lakh, respectively. Both are ex-showroom prices. The Elegance edition is based on the higher-spec Style variations of both cars and, is Rs 20,000 more expensive than the standard trim versions. Further, it features an all-black exterior finish, aluminum-finished pedals, Elegance emblems on the steering wheel, cushions, and other cosmetic and feature upgrades. It's important to note that the Slavia sedan and the Kushaq SUV special editions will only be available in limited quantities. Moreover, both these models will feature a single 1.5-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine in their exclusive avatar. Skoda Slavia, Kushaq Elegance Editions: Exterior and Interior

As part of the new Elegance collection, the Slavia and the Kushaq limited-run versions now come with stunning Deep Black exterior paint. These cars also feature several notable visual modifications including chrome body side moulding and a chrome-encircled front grille. However, the grille on the Kushaq is finished entirely in chrome. Additionally, the cars have puddle lamps with Skoda lighting and Elegance emblems on the B-pillars. While the Slavia rolls on the 16-inch alloy wheels, the Kushaq special edition comes fitted with the 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

The special versions get some unique interior features such as aluminum-finished pedals, Elegance badges on the cushions, steering wheels, neck rests, and seat belts. The Slavia sedan Elegance model also has door sill scuff plates. These models come with an 8-inch digital driver's display, ventilated and powered front seats, an illuminated footwell, up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-hold assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Additionally, they have a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Skoda Slavia, Kushaq Elegance Editions: Engine On Duty

A 1.5-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine powers the Elegance edition of both Slavia and the Kushaq. When combined with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DGS unit, this turbo-petrol engine produces 148bhp and 250Nm.

Skoda Slavia, Kushaq Elegance Editions: Price

The Skoda Kushaq Elegance Edition is available in two transmission versions- MT and DSG, priced at Rs 18.31 lakh and Rs 19.51 lakh respectively. The Skoda Slavia Elegance Edition also offers similar gearbox options- MT and DSG, priced at Rs 17.52 lakh and Rs 18.92 lakh respectively. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.
