Tata Motors has delivered its Curvv and Tiago electric cars to the President’s residence, Rashtrapati Bhavan, in New Delhi. The full Tata.ev lineup is now also available on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), the official platform where government bodies buy products and services. With more than half of the parts made locally, Tata.ev vehicles meet Class 1 supplier standards, supporting key national missions like Atmanirbhar Bharat and Net Carbon Zero. Let’s take a closer look at what the Curvv EV and Tiago EV have to offer.

Tata Curvv EV

The Tata Curvv is the second electric vehicle built on Tata’s advanced acti.ev platform. It is offered in five variants—Creative, Accomplished, Accomplished+ S, Empowered+, and Empowered+A—and two battery options: a 45kWh pack with 148bhp and a 55kWh pack with a more powerful 165bhp. Both versions are equipped with a liquid-cooled Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) producing 215Nm of torque. In terms of driving range, the 45kWh variant offers up to 502 kilometres, while the 55kWh version can go up to 585 kilometres on a single charge, making the Curvv both practical and future-ready for everyday use.

It also includes front ventilated seats, a wireless charging pad, a premium JBL sound system, ambient lighting, and a touch-based climate control panel. On the safety front, the Curvv EV is equipped with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, auto-dimming IRVM, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The Curvv EV is priced between Rs 17.49 lakh and Rs 21.99 lakh. Both are ex-showroom figures.

It also comes in multiple variants to suit different user needs and preferences, and is available with two battery pack options. The smaller 19.2kWh battery delivers 60bhp of power and 110Nm of torque, while the larger 24kWh pack boosts performance to 74bhp and 114Nm of torque. Both variants feature a front-wheel-drive (FWD) layout. According to MIDC testing (Part 1+2), the Tiago EV offers a claimed range of 223 kilometres with the smaller battery and up to 293 kilometres with the larger one.
