Tata Motors has delivered its Curvv and Tiago electric cars to the President’s residence, Rashtrapati Bhavan, in New Delhi. The full Tata.ev lineup is now also available on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), the official platform where government bodies buy products and services. With more than half of the parts made locally, Tata.ev vehicles meet Class 1 supplier standards, supporting key national missions like Atmanirbhar Bharat and Net Carbon Zero. Let’s take a closer look at what the Curvv EV and Tiago EV have to offer.
The Tata Curvv is the second electric vehicle built on Tata’s advanced acti.ev platform. It is offered in five variants—Creative, Accomplished, Accomplished+ S, Empowered+, and Empowered+A—and two battery options: a 45kWh pack with 148bhp and a 55kWh pack with a more powerful 165bhp. Both versions are equipped with a liquid-cooled Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) producing 215Nm of torque. In terms of driving range, the 45kWh variant offers up to 502 kilometres, while the 55kWh version can go up to 585 kilometres on a single charge, making the Curvv both practical and future-ready for everyday use.
