Tata Motors has introduced Adventure X variants of Safari and Harrier with refreshed interiors, ADAS in automatics, and a 2.0-litre diesel engine.

Tata Motors has widened its SUV range in India by introducing the new Adventure X variants for the Safari and Harrier. The Safari Adventure X starts at Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Harrier Adventure X and Adventure X+ begin at Rs 18.99 lakh and Rs 19.34 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom). While the exteriors of both SUVs remain unchanged, the cabins get a fresh touch. The Harrier now comes with an 'Onyx Trail' interior featuring black leatherette seats and tan accents. The Safari gets an 'Adventure Oak' theme with tan leatherette upholstery and black highlights. Wheel sizes remain the same, with the Safari on 18-inch alloys and the Harrier on 17-inch alloys.

The Adventure X range comes with a mix of comfort and tech features. Both SUVs include a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree HD surround-view camera, an Ergo Lux powered driver’s seat, and Trail Sense auto headlamps. Other additions include automatic wipers, a rear wiper, an illuminated Tata logo on the steering wheel, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a digital instrument cluster.
Both SUVs are equipped with six airbags, an electronic stability program, quad-disc brakes, and a driver doze-off alert. Tata Motors has also added Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with Adaptive Cruise Control, available only in the automatic variants.

Power comes from a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that delivers 165bhp and 350Nm of torque. Customers can choose between a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. With these updates, Tata Motors is aiming to give SUV buyers in India more choice and better features.
