Tata Harrier EV Teaser

Tata Motors has officially teased the interior of the upcoming Harrier EV for the first time, offering a glimpse of what to expect from the all-electric SUV ahead of its India launch. The EV’s cabin design remains largely consistent with its ICE sibling, as showcased in the teaser. It comes equipped with a 12.3-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument display, which also integrates navigation. The dashboard has a dual-tone finish, a four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, and a terrain mode selector. Moreover, it has dual-zone climate control complemented by touch-sensitive as well as toggle-based controls. Premium amenities include a panoramic sunroof and a JBL sound system. However, the EV version is expected to boast advanced amenities like vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) technology, enhancing its versatility and practicality. With its debut on the horizon, the Tata Harrier EV promises a blend of innovation, comfort, and sustainability.

Tata Harrier EV: Design, Dimensions, and Battery Pack

On the exterior, the Harrier EV sports a closed-off front fascia with four horizontal creases, a redesigned bumper with vertical slats, and aero-optimised alloy wheels inspired by the Stealth Edition. While the recently spotted test mule lacked ‘EV’ badging, it is expected on the final version. The rear design closely mirrors the ICE variant, aside from an EV-specific bumper.

Dimensionally, the model remains unchanged, measuring 4,605mm in length, 1,922mm in width, and 1,718mm in height, with a 2,714mm wheelbase and 205mm ground clearance. Tata Motors has confirmed an AWD dual-motor setup with an expected range of over 500 km/charge. Lower trims may feature a smaller battery and single-motor configuration.

Initially revealed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the Harrier EV is set to launch later this year. With advanced EV technology, it will carry a premium over the ICE version (Rs 15-26.5 lakh). Pricing is expected to start around Rs 24 lakh, reaching up to Rs 30 lakh for top-end variants. Mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.
