Tata launches new Safari Storme at Rs 9.9 lakh

Tata Motors has launched the new version of Safari Storme at Rs 9.9 lakh(ex-showroom, Delhi), with a slew of visual updates to the interiors and exteriors of the SUV.

The Safari Storme sports an all new upper and lower grille in Charcoal Grey and Ocean Grey, giving the car a refreshed look. A new diamond motif has been adopted, with ‘Storme’ now embossed in black, on the silver cladding of the hood of the vehicle. The roof rails of the Safari Storme also features subtle changes as part of the overhaul.

The interiors now sport a Java Black colour scheme but the biggest change inside is the addition of CONNECTNEXT infotainment system.

Under the hood, the Safari Storme is powered by a VARICOR turbocharged engine that delivers 150 PS of power and 320 NM of torque. Tata promises the car can accelerate from 0-100km/hr in 14 seconds. Fuel efficiency is measured at 14.1km/l.

The new Tata Safari Storme is available in four variants, namely, LX (4x2), EX (4x2), VX (4x2 and 4x4), and the buyers can choose from five colors, viz, Arctic Silver, Urban Bronze, Pearl White, Astern Black and Arctic White.
