Tata Motors has officially discontinued the 40kWh Long-Range (LR) variants of the Nexon EV in India, streamlining its electric SUV lineup. With this update, only the 45kWh Long-Range (LR) and 30kWh Medium-Range (MR) variants remain on sale. The move comes as Tata Motors focuses on optimising its EV portfolio, ensuring a clearer distinction between range options for buyers. The Nexon EV 45kWh LR continues to cater to long-distance commuters, while the 30kWh MR variant remains an accessible choice for urban users. Despite the 40kWh version's discontinuation, the Indian automaker has ensured that the Nexon EV lineup retains its appeal with a balance of performance, range, and affordability. Read on for further details about the updated Nexon EV range and its available variants.
