Nexon EV Front and Side View

For February 2024, Tata Motors is offering discounts and benefits on the unsold MY2023 units of the Nexon EV lineup, including the pre-facelifted version of the electric vehicle. For those looking to buy the facelifted version of the Nexon EV, the Fearless Plus S Long Range variant comes with a maximum discount of up to Rs 1 lakh, while up to Rs 85,000 discount can be had on the Fearless LR. Meanwhile, the unsold stock of the Fearless Plus MR, Fearless Plus S MR, and Fearless Plus LR variants from last year can be availed with benefits of up to Rs 65,000 and the Fearless MR, Empowered MR, and Empowered Plus LR variants with discounts in the range of Rs 50,000. As for the pre-facelift Nexon EV, discounts and offers in the range of Rs 1.90 lakh to Rs 2.30 lakh are available on the Nexon EV Prime, while the range-topping Max is on offer with benefits of Rs 2.80 lakh.

All discounts and offers are available only for a limited period, and can be had in the form of a consumer discount, an exchange bonus, a corporate offer, and other dealer-end offers. Note that these offers may vary depending on the region, dealership, and stock availability. Kindly verify with your local dealer to avail of the same.

Tata Nexon EV Facelift: Powertrain

The updated Tata Nexon EV is offered in Medium-Range and Long-Range versions, corresponding to the Prime and Max variants sold earlier. Mechanically, the facelifted model continues to be offered with two battery sizes – a 30.2kWh for the Nexon MR and a 40.5kWh for the Nexon LR. The former produces 127bhp and 215Nm of peak torque, while the latter generates 141bhp and 215Nm of torque. Tata has equipped the car with a new Gen2 permanent magnet synchronous motor, which is said to be lighter, cleaner, and more efficient.

The MR and the LR yield a driving range of 325km (MIDC) and 465km (MIDC) on a single charge, respectively. Both variants support 7.2kWh fast charging, while also offering a vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-vehicle charging function for the first time. Tata says that the electric derivative can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 8.9 seconds and tops out at 150km/h, thanks to better aerodynamics.

Tata Nexon EV Facelift: Features

Features-wise, the Tata Nexon EV facelift offers the largest-in-segment 12.3-inch touchscreen with mobile connectivity, a new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, a 9-speaker JBL audio system with multiple audio modes, connected car tech, a redesigned rotary dial, touch-based HVAC controls, a wireless charger, cooled front seats, and thinner AC vents. A dual-tone cream-and-black interior theme gives the cabin a premium appeal. To cater to the diverse customer needs, 4 voice assistants – Hey Tata, Amazon Alexa, Hey Siri, and OK Google – are offered. The upgraded Tata's ZConnect now offers 64+ features, including a remote control car function. For driving aids, there are paddle shifters and smart digital shifters.

Tata Nexon EV Facelift: Safety Kit

A host of safety features includes ESP with iVBAC, ABS, a 360-degree camera, Level 1 ADAS features, six airbags as standard, a blind view monitor, ISOFIX mounts, front parking sensors, all-wheel disc brakes, 3-point seat belts for all, and more.
