Tata Nexon Smart, Pure, Creative, and Fearless Variants Explained: Which One Should You Buy?

Tata Motors has added five new automatic variants to the Nexon lineup. As a result, the price of the Nexon Petrol AMT starts at Rs 10 lakh for the Smart+ trim, which was previously available only with a petrol-5MT powertrain. Meanwhile, the Nexon Diesel AMT ranges from Rs 11.80 lakh for the Pure trim to Rs 15.50 lakh for the Fearless+ S. All prices are ex-showroom. Earlier, the AMT option was offered only in higher trims – the Creative variant onwards. However, the Nexon Smart+ S remains unchanged. Tata Nexon: Powertrain

Powering the Tata Nexon is either a 1.5-litre diesel or a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The diesel engine produces 113bhp and 260Nm of peak torque, whereas the turbocharged petrol mill generates 118bhp and 170Nm of maximum torque. Transmission options are six-speed MT, six-speed AMT, seven-speed DCT (with paddle shifters), and five-speed MT.
