Tata Motors will launch the Punch EV Facelift in India tomorrow, i.e., February 20, 2026. While the company has released teasers highlighting the refreshed exterior design of this electric SUV, the details about the cabin and potential mechanical upgrades remain undisclosed. Currently, the Punch EV is available in the price range of Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 14.44 lakh (ex-showroom). With the upcoming facelift, the e-SUV is likely to see a slight price revision. Here are the anticipated features and improvements in the Punch EV facelift in detail.
Post the makeover, the Punch EV looks more refined and mature. The grille now has a closed-off finish, and the black headlamp trim is no longer part of the design. The scuff plate looks slightly different, and the design of the front bumper has also been tweaked. Tata has introduced aerodynamic new alloy wheels, eye-catching colour options, including a sunlit yellow and metallic copper with a contrasting black roof, and connected LED taillamps.
Inside, the most prominent change will likely be a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, with updated software. Tata Motors may also introduce updated upholstery and new interior trim accents for a more premium cabin feel. On the safety front, the facelift could feature Level-2 ADAS.

Other than this, the existing features are expected to remain, including ambient lighting, a voice-enabled electric sunroof, six standard airbags, ESC, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold.
The current Tata Punch EV is available with 25kWh and 35kWh battery options, offering an ARAI-claimed range of 265 kilometres and 365 kilometres, respectively. As of now, there’s no confirmation, but the upcoming Punch EV facelift is speculated to feature a larger battery unit, potentially increasing its driving range and overall efficiency.
