In terms of powertrain, the Tiago NRG i-CNG has a 1.2-litre three-cylinder Revotron petrol engine under its hood, which produces 72bhp and 95Nm of peak torque and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The car comes with several features, including a height-adjustable driver seat, an engine start-stop button, an eight-speaker surround sound system, a cooled glove box, a fully digital instrument display, and steering-mounted controls.
The exterior of the Tata Tiago NRG i-CNG features dual-tone alloy wheels, black body cladding all around, new faux skid plates at the front and rear, a black roof, ORVMs, roof rails, fog lights, and black plastic cladding on the tailgate.
For safety reasons, the Tiago iCNG is able to switch immediately from CNG to petrol mode in case of a gas leak. Both models come with significant safety equipment, including dual airbags, anti-lock brakes (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), corner stability control, a rear parking assistance sensor, and more as standard.
