The Thar Roxx, which went on sale in India on August 15 of this year, received a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP earlier this month. The SUV obtained 31.09 out of 32 for adult protection and 45 out of 49 for child protection. The AX5L and MX3 models were the ones evaluated.
For safety, the Mahindra SUV includes 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, all-wheel disc brakes, ESC, hill-hold control, and hill-descent control. It also has level 2 ADAS with features like lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
The car is available with a 2.0-liter mStallion turbo petrol or 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine. Its price ranges from Rs 12.99 lakh to Rs 20.49 lakh for RWD variants and Rs 18.79 lakh to Rs 22.49 lakh for 4WD models. These are ex-showroom figures.
