Toyota India has updated the Glanza by introducing standard six-airbag protection across all variants and launching a limited-time accessory pack called the Prestige Edition. Available through dealerships till the end of this month, this dealer-level upgrade focuses on visual enhancements to give the hatchback a more premium and distinctive appearance. The kit includes features such as a rear skid plate, chrome detailing for the ORVMs, fenders, taillamps, and lower grille, along with illuminated door sills, chrome body side mouldings, and premium door visors. Mechanically, the car remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, also offered with a factory-fitted CNG option. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. Prices begin at Rs 6.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Toyota Glanza is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which also comes with an optional factory-fitted CNG setup. The petrol version can be paired with either a five-speed manual or an AMT gearbox, producing 89bhp and 113Nm of torque. In CNG mode, the engine delivers 76bhp and 98.5Nm, and is offered exclusively with a manual transmission.
Inside, the Glanza shares its equipment list with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. It features a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera, head-up display, voice control, cruise control, and automatic climate control with rear AC vents.
Apart from six airbags, the safety quotient of the car is also enhanced by amenities like ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, vehicle stability control, and hill hold assist (available only on AMT variants).

In India, the Glanza rivals the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and the Tata Altroz in the premium hatchback space.
