Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV, Glanza Prices Hiked by up to Rs 50,000
The Glanza and Urban Cruiser Hyryder hybrid models' prices have been increased by Toyota India. The price of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder has seen its first price increase of Rs 50,000. Toyota has hiked the prices of the manual and AMT variants of the Glanza by Rs 7,000 and Rs 12,000, respectively.

Several leading automakers have hiked the prices across their model range this year. Recently, Toyota India announced a price increase for the Glanza and the Urban Cruiser Hyryder hybrid models. The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has seen its first price increase of Rs 50,000 after its launch in India. The strong hybrid variants of the mid-size SUV, which now start at Rs 15.61 lakh (ex-showroom), are the only ones to see a price increase. Previously priced between Rs 15.11 lakh and Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the SUV's strong-hybrid models will now cost Rs 50,000 more. However, neither the mild-hybrid petrol (NeoDrive) variants nor the CNG variants of the vehicle have undergone a price change. The following is the updated price list for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

The price for the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder NeoDrive variants ranges between Rs 10.48 lakh and Rs 17.19 lakh. Two CNG variants, S and G, are available for the SUV at Rs 13.23 lakh and Rs 15.29 lakh, respectively. As a result, the price of the Toyota SUV now ranges between Rs 10.48 lakh and Rs 19.49 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

Besides the price, no modifications have been made to the new Hyryder. The SUV's 1.5-litre mild-hybrid engine produces 102bhp, while the 1.5-litre three-pot strong-hybrid petrol engine produces 114bhp and offers an industry-leading fuel efficiency figure of 27.97km/l. The Toyota Hyryder shares powertrains, underpinnings, and features with the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, which ranges between Rs 10.45 lakh and Rs 19.65 lakh (ex-showroom).
Coming to the Glanza model, Toyota has increased the prices of the hatchback's manual and AMT variants by Rs 7,000 and Rs 12,000, respectively, with the exception of the top-spec V AMT, which is still available at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The recently launched CNG variants of the hatchback have seen the smallest price increase of Rs 2,000. The following is the variant-wise price list for the Glanza.

Toyota is expected to raise the prices of other models soon. The prices of the recently updated Innova Crysta, which is set to re-enter the Indian market as a diesel-only offering, are also expected to be announced shortly.
