Tata revealed the production-spec ICE Sierra a few days back, and it is set to reveal the prices for the SUV on November 25, 2025. The upcoming Sierra is expected to feature two new petrol engines — a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit, and a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated one — along with a 1.5-litre diesel unit. The Sierra EV is soon expected to follow.
Mahindra BE 6 Special Edition
Mahindra has put out a teaser announcing the launch of some sort of a special edition of the BE 6 electric SUV. As revealed in the teaser, the upcoming BE 6 will get a different setup for the front and rear lights as compared to the standard car. We expect the special edition to be related to Mahindra’s Formula E programme.
Mahindra XEV 9S
Right after the launch of the aforementioned BE 6 special edition, Mahindra will launch its first 7-seater electric SUV — the Mahindra XEV 9S. Expected to be based on the XEV 9e, the XEV 9S will be more focused towards rear passenger comfort, with confirmed features like electric boss mode and reclining second row seats.
Maruti e Vitara
It has been almost a year since we saw the e Vitara in its production-ready version at this year’s Bharat Mobility Global Expo, and its launch has been long pending now. Maruti Suzuki will finally reveal the prices for its first electric SUV on December 2, 2025. The India-spec car will initially be launched only in a FWD configuration, with the AWD yet to be confirmed for our market.
Tata Harrier, Safari petrol
Tata will finally launch the petrol versions of the Harrier and Safari SUVs on December 9, 2025. The SUVs are expected to come with Tata’s new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, and are likely to be priced around a lakh rupees cheaper than their diesel counterparts. The petrol variants will help the Harrier and Safari to appeal to much wider customer bases.
Kia Seltos (Second-Generation)
Kia is expected to unveil the next-generation Seltos in December 2025, though the exact date of reveal is yet to be confirmed by the carmaker. The Seltos marked Kia’s entry into the Indian market, and has been one of their best-selling cars so far. The next-gen Seltos will also be offered with hybrid powertrain options, as confirmed by Kia at their recent CEO Investor Day.
