If you’re planning to buy a new car in March 2026, here’s a look at the models slated to launch in the Indian market, including the Renault Duster and the Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift.

While February introduced several highly anticipated models, including the Tata Punch EV facelift, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, Volkswagen Tayron R-Line, and Nissan Gravite, March 2026 looks even more promising, with a mix of mass-market and premium car launches on the cards. Here’s a quick snapshot of the upcoming cars in India in March 2026.

Launch Date: March 3
Expected Price: Above Rs 1 Crore
The new Mercedes-Benz V-Class will arrive in India in a facelift avatar. It has a larger, redesigned radiator grille, refreshed headlights, an upright tailgate with expansive glass, and vertical taillamps. Globally, the V-Class packs a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel motor, offered in two configurations. The 220d develops 160bhp and 380Nm of torque, while the higher-spec 300d produces 233bhp and 500Nm.

Both variants come with a 9-speed automatic transmission, and buyers can choose between rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configurations. For India, Mercedes-Benz has not officially confirmed the V-Class’s specifications. While an electric version, the EQV, is available globally, it is unlikely to make it here at this stage.

The upcoming Brezza facelift has been spotted multiple times in spy shots, suggesting that its launch is just around the corner. While the SUV is expected to come with the same rugged and familiar silhouette, albeit with a few subtle updates. Some of the possible changes include redesigned headlamps and taillamps, refreshed bumpers, new alloy wheels, and new colour options. Industry reports also indicate the possible addition of a 6-speed manual transmission paired with the turbocharged engine. Similar to Maruti Suzuki’s Victoris, the CNG tank may be positioned under the body of the Brezza.

The performance-focused Audi SQ8 will sit between the standard Q8 and the range-topping RS Q8. It will feature a sportier design, including a new single-frame grille with intricate detailing, an aggressive front bumper, 21-inch multi-spoke alloys, S badging on the fenders, and a continuous LED tailgate light bar. For power, the SUV will use the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine as its range-topping sibling, the RS Q8, albeit in a lower state of tune. In the SQ8, the motor produces 500bhp/770Nm, while in the RS Q8, it is tuned more aggressively to deliver 631bhp/850Nm. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and power is sent to all four wheels. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time stands at 4.1 seconds while the electronically limited top speed is 250km/h.

The all-new Renault Duster keeps its familiar silhouette while embracing modern styling upgrades. It features slim arched LED daytime running lights that act as indicators, a bold grille with prominent ‘Duster’ branding, and silver-accented bumpers. The sides boast thick cladding and 18-inch alloy wheels, while the rear is defined by a full-width LED light bar and sporty roof spoiler.

For the first time in India, the Duster will offer a strong-hybrid option, combining a 1.8-litre petrol engine with an electric motor for 158bhp. It will also be available with a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol and 1.0-litre turbo variants, offering manual and DCT options.

Expected Price: Rs 11 lakh
The facelifted Kushaq adds a sharper and more modern styling while keeping the same silhouette. It stands out with a redesigned grille, slim LED headlights with integrated DRLs, a tweaked front bumper, new alloy wheels, and connected LED taillamps. Meanwhile, the top-spec Monte Carlo edition adds sporty elements like blacked-out accents, subtle red highlights, dual-tone alloys, gloss black roof rails, and a roof spoiler.
As for the engine, the Kushaq retains its proven options: a 1.5-litre TSI petrol with 148bhp and 250Nm, and a 1.0-litre TSI petrol with 113bhp and 178Nm.
