What keeps the car market upbeat is technology-driven appetite, growing consumer purchasing power, and pent-up demand. Such factors have also driven up Maruti Suzuki's sales over the years as India's top carmaker has emphasised the importance of providing cars in tune with changing mobility demands. In an endeavour to strengthen its portfolio in the SUV segment and popularise hybrids & alternative fuel models, the car manufacturer will shortly bring the Brezza CNG, the Fronx, the Jimny 5-door, and more to the Indian shores. To recollect, Maruti Suzuki showcased the Jimny 5-door and the Brezza CNG at the Auto Expo 2023 in Delhi. Whereas, we only saw a petrol variant of the Fronx at the Auto Expo. Keeping that aside, let us have a look at some of the upcoming cars that will be launched in 2023.

Starting with the Fronx, the new compact crossover is positioned between the Brezza and the Baleno. It gets two engine options with mild-hybrid technology: 1.2-litre K-Series Dual Jet Dual VVT engine and 1.0-litre K-series Turbo petrol engine.

On the outside, the Fronx CNG could feature LED day running lights, body-coloured ORVMs with turn indicators, automated headlights, alloy wheels, shark fin antennas, and UV-cut window glasses. Moving to the inside, it may come with a dual-tone design, premium fabric seats, steering-mounted controls, automatic climate control, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SmartPlay Pro, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, voice controls, and much more.
The Fronx will come in 5 variants that are Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta and Alpha. It is expected to start at an introductory price of Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom) and may go up to Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom).
