Volkswagen Passat available and not discontinued

Contrary to the reports that you might have read on this and other websites, Volkswagen has issued an official statement that its luxury saloon – the Passat has not been discontinued. The German car manufacturer said that the 2014 Passat will surely come to India but it will be introduced into India at the ‘appropriate time’.

Volkswagen India issued a statement saying, "We at Volkswagen continue to sell the current generation of the Passat through our dealer network. As with all our products, serviceability and availability of spares will never be an issue. The requirements of every Passat customer will be catered to with meticulous attention."
