Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Makes Its Gaming Debut in Gran Turismo 7

Xiaomi is making its debut in the gaming world with its flagship electric car, the SU7 Ultra. For the first time in both Gran Turismo 7 and the automaker’s history, a Chinese car will join the game’s lineup, a landmark moment for the franchise. The SU7 Ultra will be available in Gran Turismo 7 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 starting January 29, 2026, through the upcoming ‘Update 1.67’ patch. Once the update goes live at 2:00 PM (GMT+8), players worldwide will be able to experience the luxury EV on the game’s meticulously designed virtual tracks. For the uninitiated, Gran Turismo 7, a benchmark in racing simulation on PlayStation, is renowned for its realistic driving and extensive vehicle roster. On June 7, 2025, Xiaomi officially announced its collaboration with the game, introducing the SU7 Ultra as the first Chinese car in the series.

Mechanically, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra packs a punch with its proprietary Dual V8s + V6s Hyper Tri-Motor system that churns an incredible 1,526bhp and 1,770Nm. It features an 800V platform that propels it to 100km/h in a blistering 1.98 seconds. The EV also offers a 630 km CLTC range and rapid charging from 10% to 80% in 11 minutes. Other highlights include double-wishbone front and five-link rear suspension, dual-chamber air springs, and adaptive dampers.

As Xiaomi’s flagship high-performance EV, the SU7 Ultra has emerged as a symbol of Chinese automotive innovation. On April 1, 2025, it set a record 7:04.957 lap at the Nürburgring Nordschleife for electric executive cars, showcasing its cutting-edge powertrain, precise torque vectoring, and aerodynamic engineering.

Xiaomi SU7 Ultra India Launch

Xiaomi has no immediate plans to launch the SU7 or SU7 Ultra in India. However, if launched in the future, the model could rival EVs like the BYD Seal and BMW i4, with prices expected to start around Rs 50 lakh.
