The current Managing Director for Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, Mr Arvind Saxena, is all set to begin a new career as the President and MD for General Motors India. There has been some speculation for sometime now, but sources close to VW and GM have revealed that Arvind Saxena would replace Lowell Paddock as the new MD of General Motors.

Arvind Saxena joined VW in 2012, but he has more than 30 years of experience in the industry. Prior to VW, he also worked with Hyundai from 2005-20012 and with Maruti Suzuki from 1999-2005. GM will be hoping that the experience of Arvind Saxena will see the company reach new heights. If everything works out, Arvind Saxena will begin work with GM from 1st April.
