Ather Energy will install over 2,500 EV chargers in India by the end of 2023. It has already deployed over 1,000 EV charging stations in 80 cities all over the nation. With 60% of current installations in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, the Ather Grid fast-charging station is the largest charging network for two-wheeler EVs. The two-wheeler maker claims to make this move to encourage more customers towards EV adoption. According to the firm, sturdy charging infrastructure will boost the adoption of electric vehicles in India. Hence, it claims to commit to creating a thriving EV ecosystem and making significant investments to build a large fast-charging network in India. The company will also introduce Neighbourhood Charging, a charging option developed for semi-private areas like apartment buildings, IT office parks, etc.

Ather Energy witnessed a peak in monthly sales in January 2023, when it sold 12.419 units. It helped the company to mark its position among the top two-wheelers manufacturers for the previous month. By March 2023, the company aims to expand its retail presence to 150 centres across 100 cities.
