Auto Expo 2018 online ticket bookings begin

The 14th edition of Auto Expo will be held at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida from February 9 - 14, 2018.

Organizers of India’s largest biennial Auto show, Auto Expo, 2018, have announced the opening of online entry ticket bookings exclusively on bookmyshow.com.

The event is organized by Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) jointly in association with Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

The tickets for the expo are priced between Rs. 350 - 750. Tickets for weekday’s business hours will be Rs. 750 and for public hours will be Rs. 350. The business and public hours will be from 10 AM - 1 PM and 1 PM – 6 PM, respectively. The weekends will only be public days from 10 AM – 7 PM, with tickets priced at Rs. 475. Due to an increasing demand and footfall of visitors in the previous edition, the organisers decided to extend the motor show with one additional day. The ticket price for the additional day (February 14th) will be Rs. 450.

For public convenience, the organisers have also introduced the facility of free home delivery on booking of three or more tickets. The ticket deliveries will start from January 8, 2018.

Mr. Sugato Sen, Deputy Director General, SIAM, said “We are pleased to begin the booking of online entry ticket way in advance for the convenience of public, and have also introduced free home delivery of tickets, keeping in mind the convenience for the visitors. In this edition, we have moved away from just the static displays of automobiles to a more dynamic showcase of total mobility solutions. There will be multiple zones for different activities keeping in tune with the theme of the expo - 'co-create, co-exist and celebrate', and will be more focused towards new technologies and innovation in the auto industry”.

The Auto Expo will house several vintage cars, super cars, and others. A particularly unique initiative this time is the creation of special experience zones for visitors such as 70 years of Indian auto industry, innovation & technology, auto gaming competition, etc. that would give visitors a hint of experiencing the future offerings.
