BMW G 310 GS: Engine Specs and Price

The BMW G 310 GS is the brand's entry-level adventure tourer in India, with a price tag of Rs 3.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

Coming to the mechanical side of things, the bike is powered by a 313cc reverse-inclined liquid-cooled engine, found on other 310cc BMW models as well. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring a slip-and-assist clutch, producing 34bhp of maximum power at 9,500rpm and 28Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm.

BMW G 310 GS: Chassis and Dimensions

The BMW G 310 GS features a tubular steel frame with a bolted rear section, paired with a 41mm upside-down front fork and a rear mono-shock suspension. For braking, it is equipped with a 300mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc brake at the rear. The motorcycle is fitted with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear five-spoke alloy wheels, both wrapped in tubeless tyres.

In terms of dimensions, the bike measures 2,075mm in length, 880mm in width, and 1,230mm in height. The fuel capacity and seat height stand at 11.5 litres and 835mm, respectively. 

BMW G 310 GS: Features and Colour Options

In terms of features, the model comes equipped with a digital instrument cluster, an ADV-style front beak, a single-pod LED headlight, an alloy-wheel setup, a step-up seat, a luggage rack, an upswept exhaust, a flyscreen, semi-fairing, and a side-slung exhaust. This bike can be had in Kalamata Dark Gold Metallic, Cosmic Black, iconic three-tone Sport, or Racing Red colour options. 

BMW Models to Get Costlier from January 1, 2025

BMW Motorrad India has announced an upcoming price hike across its entire model range, set to take effect from January 1, 2025. The company will increase prices by up to 2.5%, citing rising production costs and economic inflation in the automotive sector as the driving factors. BMW emphasised that this adjustment is essential to ensure the brand's profitability and long-term business stability.

The price increase will impact the brand's wide range of motorcycles, including premium sport bikes, adventure models, and cruisers.
