The BMW i7 has sold over 1,000 units in India since its launch in 2023, highlighting the rising demand for ultra-luxury electric cars in the country. It is currently priced from Rs 2.05 crore (ex-showroom), and is offered in two trims: eDrive50 M Sport and M70 xDrive. Both variants are underpinned by a 101.7kWh battery pack. The i7 eDrive50 M Sport adopts a rear-wheel-drive configuration and makes 443bhp, while the performance-focused i7 M70 xDrive uses a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup producing 641bhp and a massive 1,015Nm.
The BMW i7 features a split-headlamp layout with slim LED daytime running lights positioned above and Swarovski-developed Crystal Headlights below. The look is further elevated by an illuminated Iconic Glow kidney grille. Inside, the electric sedan boasts the BMW Interaction Bar, a curved digital cockpit, and a rear-seat package that includes a 31-inch 8K Theatre Screen with Amazon Fire TV, Executive Lounge Seating with deep recline, massage, and ventilation functions, and a panoramic Sky Lounge glass roof with customisable lighting.
