BMW India Financial Services has brought in Andreas Modlmayer to take charge as its new Managing Director and CEO. He replaces Jaejoon Lee, who concludes his assignment in India and returns to a leadership position at BMW Korea. Modlmayer joins the Indian arm with a wealth of global experience spanning more than 20 years within the BMW Group. Over the course of his career, he has held senior roles across several regions, including New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, and, most recently, led BMW Austria Bank in Greece. His entry into the BMW ecosystem began at BMW Bank GmbH in Munich, where he focused on marketing and sales operations. Welcoming his appointment, Lisa Ng, Regional CEO for BMW Group Financial Services Asia Pacific, praised Modlmayer’s international exposure and leadership acumen, underscoring his role in advancing BMW’s strategy in the Indian financial services space.

The company functions across three core verticals: Retail Finance, Commercial Finance, and Insurance Solutions, offered in the capacity of a corporate agent. These services are tailored to meet the distinct and high-end financial needs of customers purchasing BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad vehicles.
