Bosch Rexroth commences operations in Sanand

Bosch Rexroth has put a new plant into operation in Sanand, India. The company replaced the previously rented facilities and increased the overall square footage at this location.

To address the specific regional product and system requirements, Bosch Rexroth is not only expanding production but also stepping up sales and development. It has invested Rs. 280 Crores into this expansion strategy.

Set up on a total area of around 37,000 sq mts Bosch Rexroth manufactures hydraulics components and systems at the site. Dr. Johannes T. Grobe, MD, Bosch Rexroth India said, the company was "Going beyond production, we have developed the Sanand plant more and more into a technology center”

Bosch Rexroth has been in India for the past 35 years and has a customizing unit in Bangalore for power units, pneumatic panels ,cabinets and cylinders, cutting and assembly line for linear motion products.
