Bridgestone Launches B290 tyre range in 25 sizes

Bridgestone launched the new B290 tyre range in India. The tyre, engineered for cars ranging from hatchbacks to mid-size saloons, is specially made for the Indian market to tackle poor road conditions.

The Bridgestone B290 range will be available in 25 sizes, ranging from 12-inch to 16-inch. The tyre itself features a 2-ply sidewall construction, and the tyre manufacturer states that the new range is around 10 percent better in wet and dry conditions over the B250 range, which it will replace by the end of next year. Bridgestone plans to phase out the B250 range by the end of next year.

Tomio Fukuzumi, Managing Director, Bridgestone India, said, “We are pleased to offer B-290 to the Indian Consumers as the product has great features that allow better tyre life and fuel efficiency. With B-290 we assure the customers an excellent driving experience”.

Bridgestone India has two plants in India at Kheda, Madhya Pradesh and Chakan near Pune, Maharashtra.
