Eicher Yaaron Ki Diwali

Eicher releases new video for the festive season to promote safe driving by avoiding illegal drinking and driving.

With the festive season kicking in, a lot of automobile manufacturers are looking to cash in on the sales spike of the year with new and festive model / version launches. Auto makers have also been ramping up promotional activities at the same time as well to connect better with prospective buyers. Commercial vehicle maker Eicher has also come up with a new advertorial for its brand, but in a very responsible manner by launching a new campaign called Yaaron Ki Diwali.

Under this #YaaronKiDiwali campaign, Eicher has released a new video on YouTube and Watsapp against drink and drive. The video shows how a truck driver indulges in some alcohol with the festive mood in the air, although he has a consignment of goods to deliver under a deadline. As he heads out to his truck, a group of fellow truck drivers and friends come and indulge in some friendly banter and engage him in conversations. They then distract him about music on his phone, play songs and explain to him that he should not be driving under the influence of alcohol, in a friendly manner.

Speaking on the ‘Yaaron Ki Diwali’ campaign, P Ravishankar, EVP, Sales, Marketing & Aftermarket - VE Commercial Vehicles said, “Eicher Trucks and Buses is the leading brand of commercial vehicles from VE Commercial Vehicles and a driving force behind the modernization of the commercial vehicle industry in India. The modernization journey starts with our PRO philosophy that extends beyond extends beyond products to improving productivity and profitability for our customers and drivers, delivering our promises to them. This Diwali, synchronizing with our theme of being Partners in Prosperity, we’d like to spread the message of safe driving through a video #Yaaron Ki Diwali and we take this opportunity to wish them a prosperous Diwali.”

Eicher’s #YaaronKiDiwali campaign that seeks to promote safe driving and road safety is a welcome initiative as it seeks to reach out and connect with truck drivers across the nation, to drive safe and respect everyone else’s safety as well.

We at autoX wish everyone a very happy and safe festive season and urge everyone to be safe and follow traffic rules as always, amidst all the hustle and bustle of the festivities.
