The National Highways Authority of India has revised the FASTag annual pass price for non-commercial vehicles. From April 1 2026, the annual pass will cost Rs 3,075. The change is part of the updated toll collection structure for the new financial year in India. The FASTag annual pass is meant for private vehicle owners. It allows unlimited trips through that toll gate without paying the standard toll on every crossing. This facility is aimed at local commuters who use national highways regularly for daily travel.

The revised FASTag annual pass price will apply at national highway toll plazas across India. However, the annual pass scheme will not apply to the Delhi Meerut Expressway and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. On these routes, toll charges will continue to be based on the distance travelled.
Vehicle owners can apply for or renew the FASTag annual pass through the official FASTag portal or at designated point-of-sale centres at toll plazas. To get the local resident rate, applicants must submit proof of residence such as an Aadhaar card or voter ID showing an address within the 20km zone. The pass is linked directly to the vehicle registration number and the FASTag.
Motorists who want to use the current rate must complete their transactions before the end of March. From April 1, the new charge will apply, and those without a valid pass or enough FASTag balance will have to pay a penalty equal to double the standard toll fee.
