Hero Cycles announces Arjun Kapoor as brand ambassador, limited AK edition cycle

Hero Cycles has announced the appointment of Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor as its brand ambassador. The announcement coincided with the launch of the limited ‘AK Edition’ sports cycle.

Welcoming Arjun Kapoor as brand ambassador Mr Pankaj Munjal, Co-Chairman and MD, Hero Cycles said, “It has been a monumental year for Hero Cycles for both brand and business initiatives. We are ecstatic that youth icon Arjun Kapoor is now associated with us and will represent our brand and its ethos in the public and media.”

Arjun Kapoor added, "I am extremely proud of this association with the world's largest cycle brand. Hero Cycles has shown the world that Indian made products can compete with the best in the world. I am happy to be face of the brand because cycling resonates within me like millions of Indians. Hero Cycles has been part of my life since my childhood just like so many other children in India.”

Only 3000 units of ‘AK Edition’ Hero Spirit RX-1 sports cycle would be sold, each adorned with Arjun Kapoor’s signature. Buyers may choose from an exclusive range of colour schemes for their cycle.

The company also utilised the occasion to announce a tie-up with Sports365.in, a fitness, recreational and sports-related e-commerce portal. The partnership allows Hero to sells in range of cycles on leading e-commerce platforms, including Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon and Paytm.
