Hero MotoCorp reported strong sales growth in February 2026. The company dispatched 5,58,216 units during the month, marking a 44 per cent increase over the 3,88,068 units recorded in February last year. The growth did not come from one small pocket either. Strong demand in the 100cc to 125cc motorcycle segment and steady traction in scooters helped push volumes higher. With this performance, Hero MotoCorp continues to hold its ground as the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, and February clearly shows that the momentum is building.

Domestic sales did most of the heavy lifting. The company recorded 5,16,968 units in India, up 44.68 per cent from 3,57,296 units a year ago. Entry-level motorcycles once again proved why they remain the backbone of the market. This surge has also pushed the company’s total dispatches for the current financial year to date to 58,70,636 units.

Scooters saw the sharpest rise. Dispatches grew 63.5 per cent to 58,460 units, compared to 35,756 units in February 2025. Models such as the Xoom and Destini played their part in driving that demand. On the motorcycle side, volumes climbed to 4,99,756 units from 3,52,312 units last year. Familiar names like the Splendor and HF Deluxe continued to account for a large share of these numbers.
Exports also moved in the right direction. International dispatches rose 34 per cent to 41,248 units, up from 30,772 units in the same period last year. For the financial year so far, exports have reached 2,22,965 units, compared to 1,83,078 units in the previous fiscal, showing steady traction in overseas markets.
Looking at the bigger picture, total dispatches for the financial year to date are up 9.74 per cent. Motorcycle sales stand at 54,04,272 units, while scooter sales have reached 4,66,364 units. In the previous year, those figures were 49,60,371 motorcycles and 3,89,212 scooters. The company says it will continue focusing on premium products and expanding its electric vehicle portfolio to sustain this growth.
