The Hero Xtreme 250R has attracted considerable attention in India, resulting in a waiting period of up to two months in several cities. This spike in demand follows its debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 and the opening of bookings on March 20. Priced at Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom), the Xtreme 250R is available through Hero's premium Premia dealership network. Its aggressive styling and competitive pricing have made it a favourite among enthusiasts. Design highlights include a sharply sculpted fuel tank with extended contours, a low-mounted headlamp, split-seat setup, bold exhaust, and an angular tail section. Currently offered in Black and Red, the bike’s design blends multiple visual cues to create a distinct and sporty identity.

Notably, the motorcycle can accelerate from 0 to 60km/h in just 3.25 seconds. To enhance performance and rider comfort, it also features an assist and slipper clutch system.
The bike is underpinned by a steel trellis frame, likely an evolved version of the Karizma XMR’s structure. It runs on 17-inch alloy wheels and is equipped with disc brakes at both ends, supported by switchable ABS.
Suspension duties are managed by 43mm USD forks up front and a rear monoshock with six-step preload adjustment. Braking components include petal-type discs with ByBre callipers. A balanced 50:50 weight distribution enhances tyre grip and improves overall handling dynamics.
Feature-wise, the Xtreme 250R includes a full-TFT digital instrument console with Bluetooth support, providing navigation, music control, and incoming call/message alerts.
Additional features comprise vehicle diagnostics, an all-LED lighting system, a lap timer, and a drag timer. These offerings place it competitively against other bikes in the segment.
