Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) sold 7,524 units in July 2025, with 4,050 units in the domestic market and 3,474 units exported. Strong export demand helped the company balance its sales despite weaker market conditions in India. In a year-on-year comparison, domestic sales dropped 12.4% from 4,624 units in July 2024 to 4,050 units in July 2025. Exports, however, rose 28% from 2,710 to 3,474 units, lifting overall sales by 2.5%. This export growth has become a key driver for HCIL, helping offset slow local demand.
Month-on-month, domestic sales slipped 12.3% from 4,618 units in June 2025 to 4,050 units in July 2025. While exports continue to perform strongly, the gap between local and overseas sales is widening, signalling a greater reliance on international markets for growth.
