Honda Cars India has recently announced fresh discount offers for July for its City and Amaze sedans. The offers can be had in the form of cash discounts, exchange bonuses, corporate discounts, and loyalty bonuses. It is important to note that these offers are valid through the end of the month, i.e., July 31st. The Honda City receives the most benefits, followed by savings on the Amaze sedan. For those who are unaware, the manufacturer is presently offering two models in its Indian portfolio: the fifth-generation City and the Amaze. With pricing starting at Rs 11.57 lakh and reaching as high as Rs 20.39 lakh for the top-spec City Hybrid, the Japanese automaker launched the City facelift in March this year. All prices are ex-showroom. Let's now have a closer look at model-specific discount details.

Honda City, Amaze: July Discount Offers

The all-new fifth-generation City is offered in four versions with an introductory price of Rs 11.57 lakh, compared to the Honda Amaze's three variants and starting price of Rs 7.05 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). Speaking of the discounts for the City, customers have the option of obtaining additional accessories worth Rs 10,946 or a cash discount of up to Rs 10,000 from Honda. In addition to the standard corporate benefits of Rs 8,000, the City now comes with an exclusive corporate discount of Rs 20,000. Existing Honda customers will receive a Rs 20,000 exchange bonus. A further exchange incentive of Rs 8,000 is also available to new Honda buyers. The maximum benefits on the City, as a result, total up to Rs 73,946.

Coming to the Amaze sedan, the Honda Amaze is not eligible for either exclusive corporate discounts or the exchange bonus. The automaker is providing a Rs 6,000 corporate discount on its subcompact vehicle. Similar to the City, here also you can opt for offers on additional accessories of up to Rs 12,296 or cash discounts worth Rs 10,000. A loyalty bonus of Rs 5,000 is also applicable to the model, taking the magnitude of maximum benefits up to Rs 23, 296.

The deals mentioned above may vary according to the dealership, model, variant, location, model year, and other factors. To learn more, you can contact the closest Honda-authorised dealership.

2023 Honda City: Features

The City petrol boasts ADAS, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and automated emergency braking on higher trim levels. Up until recently, the City Hybrid was the sole vehicle with ADAS. Honda has added a new feature to the City Hybrid's ADAS system dubbed "Low-Speed Follow" that enables the driver to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of them. A "Lead Vehicle Departure Notification System" is also installed in the car, and it alerts the driver when the car in front of them starts to move.

2023 Honda City: Variants and Powertrain

The three older City variants, V, VX, and ZX, were all replaced with a new entry-level variant called SV as part of the 2023 Honda City makeover. For the City hybrid, which previously only had a single fully equipped ZX option, a new V model is now available. SV, V, VX, and ZX versions will be available for the 2023 Honda City facelift's petrol versions, while V and ZX variants will be provided for the City's hybrid version.

The new City offers two engine choices mechanically: a 1.5-litre petrol unit and a 1.5-litre petrol hybrid Atkinson cycle unit with two electric motors. The 1.5-litre gasoline engine produces 119bhp and 145Nm, whereas the 1.5-litre petrol hybrid Atkinson cycle engine generates 124bhp of maximum power and 253Nm of peak torque. Engines are now available that comply with RDE and E20 standards. Further, the car no longer comes with the 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine that it formerly did.
