In a bid to improve road safety, Honda’s two wheeler division has inaugurated a traffic training park in the city of Hyderabad.

Opened as a mini city, the traffic training park caters to all age groups and includes zebra crossings, traffic lights, speed breaks etc.

Children between the age group of 5-8 will be engaged by games like road safety snakes & ladder and cycling while those between 9-12 years will learn from practical experience on CRF 50 motorcycle.

Women will be taught to ride a motorcycle in just four hours, provided they have prior experience of cycling. All new riders can get their hands on Honda’s simulator to understand riding basics and experience 100+ possible dangers on road.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Tomoaki Nagayama, Deputy Director - South Region, Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd.said, “Honda believes that with proper training, safe-riding habits can be inculcated amongst two-wheeler riders. Honda has already got phenomenal thumbs up by educating over 1.42 lac individuals at its 7 existing traffic parks in India. As the next step, Honda has adopted its first traffic park in South India. Now more and more people in Hyderabad can learn how to ride a two-wheeler safely and conveniently from Honda’s skilled and trusted safety instructors

This is Honda’s eight such traffic park in the country and the first in South India.
