Honda has announced that its new ‘H mark’ logo will replace the former classic emblem and represent its automotive division. The new logo will make its debut on upcoming electric vehicles and next-generation hybrid models in 2027. It will also be applied across Honda dealerships, brand communication, and motorsport ventures. The new H mark will make its first appearance on the production version of the 0 Saloon. First introduced in 1963, the H mark has long served as the emblem of Honda’s automobile business. Over the decades, it has consistently represented the brand across products and operations, evolving in design to reflect changing times.
The new logo marks Honda’s “second founding,” and its attempt to lead in a time of transformation. Honda aims to surpass customer expectations through advanced technology and new ways of thinking.
The H mark has been redesigned in sync with its next-generation EV development efforts to express its commitment to innovation and transformation. The design, inspired by two outstretched hands, signifies Honda’s dedication to expanding mobility possibilities and meeting customer needs while staying true to its pioneering spirit. The new H mark removes the border of the previous logo and adopts softer, more flowing lines, resulting in a clean and simple overall appearance.
