Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Waiting Period Reaches up to 8 Months in India

Here's a glance at the current waiting periods for the model's multiple variants. The waiting period for customers preferring the petrol-powered Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is 30 weeks from the date of booking. For the CNG versions, meanwhile, there is currently a wait time of up to 10 weeks.

The i20 hatchback from Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has been one of the most popular models in its India lineup for a long time now. In January this year, the South Korean automaker rolled out the updated Grand i10 Nios for the Indian market at an introductory starting price of Rs 5.68 lakh. Here's a look at the current waiting period for the different variants of the model. For customers opting for the petrol version of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, the waiting period presently stands at 30 weeks from the date of booking. Meanwhile, a wait time of up to 10 weeks is there for the CNG versions. It is important to note that the above-mentioned waiting periods are applicable to the city of Bhopal.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: Price and Variants

The 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is offered in a total of four variants, namely, Era, Magna, Sportz, and Asta. The price range for the updated model ranges between Rs 5.73 lakh and Rs 8.13 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom. 

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: Engine and Gearbox

The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 82bhp of maximum power and 113.8Nm of peak torque. When propelled by a dual-fuel engine (petrol and CNG), the car achieves a maximum output of 68bhp and 95.2Nm. The petrol unit is paired with both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic transmission. The dual-fuel engine, on the other hand, features a 5-speed manual transmission. Both powertrains meet the stringent RDE norms.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: Design Details

Starting off with the colour schemes available for the car, customers have the benefit of choosing from a range of options like Titan Grey, Teal Blue, Fiery Red, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, and the new Spark Green. Apart from these, dual-tone colours such as Polar White with a black roof and Spark Green with a black roof are also there. The hatchback's front end receives a revised grille, integrated Y-shaped LED DRLs, projector headlights, and a sharkfin antenna. It also gets new LED taillamps and a new set of diamond-cut alloy wheels at the back.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: Interior and Safety Features

The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios features an 8.0-inch touchscreen audio display with smartphone navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto compatibility, a 3.5-inch speedometer with a TPMS display, a multi-information display (MID), fully automated climate control, a wireless phone charger, and a Type C fast USB charger. Other features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Grey upholstery with piping and Nios embossing, a smart key with push button start/stop, and inside door handles with a metal finish.

When it comes to safety suite, the Grand i10 Nios boasts features such as four standard airbags, six optional airbags, cruise control, electronic stability control, hill start assist, vehicle stability management, parking assist with rear parking sensors, a rear camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
