Along with its sedan cousin, the Aura, the Grand i10 Nios from the South Korean automaker Hyundai underwent an overhaul earlier this year. The updated Grand i10 Nios hatchback was launched in January at an introductory price of Rs 5.68 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelift was rolled out in the Indian market with significant exterior and interior revisions. Moreover, the i10 Nios also received a fresh colour scheme for the new-generation model. It is now offered in a new Spark Green shade, along with Titan Grey, Teal Blue, Fiery Red, Polar White, and Typhoon Silver. Now, if you are planning to house the all-new Nios in your garage, here's how long you will need to wait to pick up your car from your nearest dealership. Hyundai Grand I10 Nios Back Three Quarter

Similar to the previous-generation Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, the hatchback's 2023 edition lacks choices for a diesel or turbo-petrol engine. A petrol engine with 82bhp of maximum power and 113.8Nm of peak torque is available, as is a dual-fuel (petrol and CNG) engine with a maximum output of 68bhp and 95.2Nm. Both a 5-speed manual gearbox (AMT) and a 5-speed manual gearbox (5-speed MT) are available for the petrol engine. According to the manufacturer, the model's powertrains are now compliant with the latest RDE emission norms.

The upgraded hatchback has a new grille, integrated Y-shaped LED DRLs in the front bumper, a sharkfin antenna, updated LED taillamps, and projector headlights on the outside. The facelift also has a new set of 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. It now comes in the new Spark Green exterior colour option. The all-new version will also be offered in Titan Grey, Teal Blue, Fiery Red, Polar White, and Typhoon Silver as additional colour options. Furthermore, a dual-tone colour option will be available in Polar White with a black roof and Spark Green with a black roof.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: Interior and Safety Features

The car received an improved cabin for the facelift, just like the version from the previous generation. A wireless phone charger, fully automated climate control, an 8-inch touchscreen audio display with smartphone navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto-connectivity, and cruise control are among the improved hatchback's cabin amenities for 2023. It also has a 3.5-inch speedometer with a TPMS display and a multi-information display (MID). Other highlights of the facelift include a Type C fast USB charger, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, grey upholstery with piping and Nios embossing, a smart key with push button start/stop, and metal finish inside door handles.

The Grand i10 Nios facelift boasts 30 features for increased safety, including four standard airbags, six optional airbags, cruise control, electronic stability control, hill start assist control, vehicle stability management, parking assist with rear parking sensors, a rear camera, and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
