Hyundai India has announced a price hike of up to 3% across its entire model lineup, effective April 1, 2025. The increase is attributed to rising input costs, fluctuations in raw material expenses, and growing operational expenditures. This revision will impact mass-market models like the Grand i10 Nios, i20, Creta, and Venue, as well as premium offerings such as the Tucson, and Ioniq 5. Hyundai joins several automakers implementing price adjustments to counter escalating production costs. Prospective buyers may consider booking their vehicles before April to take advantage of current prices, as the revision is expected to raise ex-showroom rates across the lineup. The quantum of the price increase will vary based on the specific model and variant.

What Hyundai India Has to Say?

Hyundai has become the latest car brand to announce a price revision across its model range. Earlier, Tata Motors, Kia, and Maruti Suzuki had also confirmed upcoming price hikes, scheduled to take effect next month. Several carmakers are implementing these adjustments in response to escalating input costs and increasing manufacturing expenses, making such revisions a common trend in the industry.

Sharing his thoughts on the latest price revision, Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer, HMIL, said, 'At Hyundai Motor India Limited, we strive to absorb rising costs to the extent possible, ensuring minimal impact on our customers. However, with the sustained increase in operational expenses, it has now become imperative to pass on a part of this cost escalation through a minor price adjustment. The price increase will be effective in April 2025. We remain committed to making consistent internal efforts to minimise any future impact on our valued customers.'
