Hyundai Motor India begins 6th edition of ‘Great India Drive’

Hyundai's 6th edition of the 'Great India Drive' is to cover 17 destinations.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. launched the 6th edition of the "Great India Drive” from Srinagar, India, on the 15th of November. The 2022 edition of the Great India Drive will see a line of Hyundai Tucson SUVs conquering the heights of India's rough geography, covering as many as 17 places, including Sonamarg, Zojila Pass, and Kargil in Ladakh. 

The Tucson is available with a 2.0-litre petrol engine, producing 153bhp, and a 2.0-litre diesel engine, delivering 183bhp. The petrol-based motor is paired to a six-speed automatic gearbox, whereas an eight-speed automatic one is mated to the diesel motor. AWD is only available in the highest-spec diesel model. 

Thanks to the 4th Generation N3 platform, the brand-new Hyundai Tucson offers an immensely safe cabin. The new Hyundai Tucson has a tough body structure, which uses AHSS (Advanced High Strength Steel) and HSS (High Strength Steel), along with a thorough application of hot-stamping. It also gets Hyundai SmartSense with Level 2 ADAS capacity.

Hyundai has stated that its sixth edition of the Great India Drive 2022 has been designed not just to check-off places but also to embark on an adventure to reach 'On Top of the World' while displaying the exhilarating and cutting-edge experience of driving the latest Hyundai Tucson.
