JSW MG Motor India sold 6,678 units in the month of July 2025, registering a strong growth of 46% year-on-year. It recently introduced the MG M9 and the Cyberster in India, both sold through the brand's premium outlet, MG Select.

JSW MG Motor India posted its best-ever performance of the calendar year in July 2025, selling a total of 6,678 cars. This marked a significant 46% year-on-year increase over the 4,575 units sold in July 2024, reflecting growing demand for its products. On a month-on-month basis, the carmaker witnessed a 14.57% rise in sales from the 5,829 units sold in June 2025. The company’s product portfolio in India, includes the Comet EV, ZS EV, Astor, Hector, Hector Plus, Gloster, MG M9, and the MG Cyberster. The last two models are sold through the brand's premium vehicle dealership, the MG Select.

MG officially introduced the M9 in India last month, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 69.90 lakh. The electric MPV stands out with a closed-off grille flanked by an aggressive bumper. It sports sleek LED daytime running lights and angular headlight enclosures. From the side, the profile flaunts a van-like look and includes chrome trim. The car rides on 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. It gets a full-width LED light bar at the rear, which gives it a clean, upscale finish.

Inside, the M9’s cabin includes a mix of suede and leather. It also comprises advanced amenities like a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment, a wireless phone charger, a digital rear-view mirror, and a 7-inch digital instrument display. Other highlights include power-adjustable front and rear seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging capability.
The MPV has a 90kWh lithium-ion battery, sending power to a front-mounted electric motor. The setup delivers 241bhp and 350Nm, and enables a top speed of 180km/h. The range stands at 548 kilometres on a full charge.

With an 11kW AC charger, the battery can be charged from 5% to 100% in about 8.5 hours. However, the DC fast charging option allows buyers to replenish the battery from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes
