Mahindra launches Jeeto mini-truck from Rs 2.32 lakh

Mahindra has launched the Jeeto mini-truck in India at a starting price tag of Rs 2.32 lakh (ex-showroom, Telangana).

The Jeeto caters to varied requirements of Indian customers by offering eight different models across three different series, namely the S series (S6-11, S6-16), L series (L6-11, L6-16, L7-11, L7-16) and X series (X7-11, X7). The different permutations are formed on three basis: power unit(11 bhp and 16 bhp), deck length (5.5ft, 6ft and 6.5ft) and payload(600 kg and 700 kg).

Under the hood, the Jeeto features a direct-injection, diesel engine that delivers fuel efficiency of up to 37.6 km/l. Coupled with lower maintenance cost, Mahindra promises 30% more profit that its nearest competitor.

Speaking at the launch of Jeeto, Dr Pawan Goenka, Executive Director, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, “At Mahindra we have regularly created disruptions in the market with our alternative thinking and the Jeeto with its unique value proposition is a clear validation of this philosophy.”

Mahindra Jeeto is offered in five colour schemes, namely Diamond White, Sunrise Red, Mango Yellow, Ultramarine Blue and Premium Biege. The factory warranty extends to 2 years/40,000 km (whichever is earlier).
