August has begun, and auto manufacturers have started sharing their sales figures for the previous month. Mahindra has recorded a strong performance across the board. It sold 83,691 vehicles overall in July 2025, marking a growth of 26% year-on-year. This total also includes international shipments.
Commenting on the sales, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., said, 'In July, we achieved SUV sales of 49,871 units, a growth of 20%, and total vehicle sales of 83,691 units, a 26% growth compared to the same month last year.'

He also added, 'Our SUV growth has been supported by the recent launch of XUV 3XO 'REVX' Series & the commencement of deliveries for Pack two variants of the BE 6 and XEV 9E models.'
The key highlight of the last month was the sharp rise in export numbers, which increased from 1,515 units to 2,774 units in July 2025. This indicated a growth of a whopping 83%.
Looking at the year-to-date performance (April to July 2025), Mahindra sold 2.02 lakh cars, which is a 22% growth over the same period last fiscal year. This highlights the brand's continued dominance and strong presence in the utility vehicle market. In terms of exports, Mahindra shipped 12,441 units during the April–July period, compared to 8,640 units sold during the same time last year, marking an increase of 44%. In the commercial vehicle segment, the automaker reported sales of 21,571 in the domestic market last month.
Mahindra will showcase its much-anticipated Vision Concept series at its 'Freedom NU' event in Mumbai on August 15, 2025. While exact details are still under wraps, the range, comprising four concepts, including S, T, X, and SXT, will use the brand's new Freedom_NU platform. This architecture can accommodate different powertrains, including diesel, electric, and hybrid.

The Mahindra Vision S is likely to preview the electric version of the Scorpio-N. Meanwhile, the Vision SXT hints at a rugged pick-up, based on the Scorpio-N platform. More details will be disclosed at the official debut.
