Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to expand its portfolio in India with a new SUV, potentially the Escudo, a rebadged version of the Grand Vitara sold in international markets. Unlike the current Grand Vitara, which is sold through the Nexa chain, this upcoming model is expected to be positioned in the Arena lineup. The official specifications are currently unknown; however, industry reports suggest that the SUV could come with a 1.5-litre petrol engine.
