The Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has announced a significant jump in sales in the first half of the year. In the first six months of 2023, Ducati managed to sell 34,976 vehicles across the globe, registering a growth of 5 per cent as compared to the same period last year. In the international market, there is a strong demand for the Multistrada V4, which majorly contributed to its global sales milestone. The Italian company delivered 6,382 units of the Multistrada V4 globally between January and June 2023. The Monster, which is Ducati's naked sports bike, took the second spot at 4,299 units. In addition to this, Ducati sold 3,581 units of the Scrambler 800 range during the same period.

Ducati is quite popular in its home country, Italy, where it sold 6,639 bikes, which accounts for around 10 per cent of its sales from January to June. In the United States, the bike maker sold 4,505 units, making it the second-largest market for Ducati after Italy and representing an 11 per cent increase over 2022.

Ducati Multistrada V4 S's New Easy Lift Function

For the existing Multistrada V4 S owners as well as new buyers, Ducati has recently introduced an 'Easy Lift' function, which enhances the bike's accessibility by lowering the seat height. This function acts on the suspension's hydraulics by opening the valves of the semi-active dampers in order to help the rider lift the bike. This works when the bike is stationary, allowing the rider to press their feet firmly on the ground. The Easy Lift system can be installed on the bike free of cost at your nearby dealership.

The bike has not yet made its way to the Indian market, but expect it to be introduced soon.
