Which company will Mr. Srivastava join next?

In an official statement, Hyundai India has announced that Rakesh Srivastava, Director, Sales and Marketing, has resigned from his position after working with the company for six years.

Just recently, Mr. Srivastava was promoted to the position of Director, Sales and Marketing at Hyundai India. This was his third promotion in a span of six years at the company. He has decided to pursue other interests outside the organisation.

Under Mr. Srivastava’s leadership, Hyundai India has grown from around 3.65 lakh annual sales six years ago to around 5.55 lakh units during the last fiscal year. He has been credited with playing an important role in launching successful Hyundai models like the Elite i20, Grand i10 and Creta in India. These models have played a pivotal role in helping the Korean brand gain market share in India.

On Mr. Srivastava’s exit, Y.K. Koo, Managing Director & CEO, Hyundai India, said, 'Our association with Mr. Srivastava has been mutually enriching. He has immensely contributed through the years, leading the company to stay ahead. We wish him the very best in future endeavours.'
