Renault Triber, Kwid and More Attract Discounts of up to Rs 62,000 in May

Depending on the model and variant of your choice, you can save up to Rs 62,000 if you buy a Renault car this month. For May 2023, the manufacturer is offering substantial cash discounts on popular models like the Kiger SUV, the Triber MPV, and the Kwid hatchback as well as exchange, corporate, and scrappage exchange benefits. It's interesting to note that Renault is also giving discounts on the 2022 and 2023 model years of all three vehicles as well as on versions that comply with BS6 Phase 2.

Renault Kwid: Discounts and Benefits of up to Rs 57,000

Up to Rs 57,000 worth of benefits, including cash discounts of up to Rs 25,000 (and discounts of up to Rs 20,000 for some variants), are available for the Kwid model year 2022. Additional benefits include corporate discounts of up to Rs 12,000 and exchange benefits of up to Rs 20,000. Customers also receive benefits under Renault's scrappage programme of up to Rs 10,000. On the Kwid models that comply with BS6 Phase 2, Renault is providing discounts up to Rs 27,000. This includes up to Rs 5,000 in cash discounts, Rs 10,000 in exchange benefits, and Rs 12,000 in corporate discounts. Under the scrappage programme, it also receives benefits of up to Rs 10,000.

The Kwid, Renault's smallest vehicle, now only has a 1.0-litre petrol engine that generates 68bhp of maximum power and 91Nm of peak torque. It is coupled to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT. Following the implementation of BS6 Phase 2 standards, the French manufacturer recently stopped producing the Kwid with a 0.8-liter petrol engine.

Renault Triber: Discounts and Benefits of up to Rs 62,000

For the models from 2022, Renault is providing discounts up to Rs 62,000. A cash discount of up to Rs 25,000, an exchange bonus of up to Rs 25,000, and a corporate discount of up to Rs 12,000 are all included in this. The Renault scrappage programme also offers customers benefits of up to Rs 10,000. Benefits for the 2023 Triber are up to Rs 52,000, which includes cash discounts of up to Rs 15,000 in value. The Triber's BS6 Phase 2-compliant models qualify for discounts of up to Rs 42,000, which includes a cash discount of up to Rs 10,000. The Triber continues to receive all other benefits, including an exchange bonus of up to Rs 25,000, a corporate discount of up to Rs 12,000, and additional benefits under the scrappage programme of up to Rs 10,000. 

The Triber has seating for up to 7 passengers and is the only sub-4m MPV in the segment. For more cargo room, there is an option to completely remove the third row. It is propelled by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine with a maximum power output of 72bhp and 96Nm of peak torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT.

Renault Kiger: Discounts and Benefits of up to Rs 62,000

Discounts of up to Rs 62,000 are being offered by Renault on the Kiger for the 2022 and 2023 model years. This includes a corporate discount of up to Rs 12,000, a cash discount of up to Rs 25,000, and an exchange bonus of up to Rs 25,000. Besides, it is eligible for Renault's scrappage programme benefits of up to Rs 10,000. 

The carmaker is providing discounts of up to Rs 52,000 for the BS6 Phase 2-compliant model, including cash discounts of up to Rs 25,000 (some variants receive discounts of up to Rs 10,000), exchange bonuses of up to Rs 20,000 (select variants receive discounts of up to Rs 15,000), and corporate discounts of up to Rs 12,000. In addition, it receives benefits under the scrappage programme of up to Rs 10,000. 

A naturally aspirated petrol engine with 72bhp and 96Nm, as well as a turbo petrol engine with 100bhp and 160Nm of torque, are both available for the Kiger. Although they are both mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, the former has an AMT, while the latter has a CVT.
