Royal Enfield announced that its total motorcycle sales reached 88,045 units in July — which is a strong 31% year-on-year increase compared to the 67,265 units sold in the same month last year. The growth highlights the brand’s continued dominance in the mid-size motorcycle segment, particularly in the domestic market. In India alone, Royal Enfield sold 76,254 units in July, marking a 25% rise over last year's 61,208 units. Meanwhile, the company recorded exceptional growth on the international front, with sales hitting 11,791 motorcycles. This was a massive 95% increase from 6,057 units in July 2024. This rise in exports demonstrates the brand’s rising appeal across global markets.
As for year-to-date performance, Royal Enfield has maintained strong momentum through the first four months of FY26 (April–July). The company clocked total sales of 3.53 lakh units during this period, a solid 20% jump over the 2.94 lakh units sold in the same window last fiscal. Domestic sales rose to 3.05 lakh units, marking a healthy 15% gain, while exports soared by an impressive 72% to 48,540 units from 28,225 previously.

After a brief setback following its initial launch, the Royal Enfield Scram 440 is steadily returning to showrooms across the country. With the technical fault now resolved, dealers have resumed bookings and are offering test rides in select locations. The bike, initially introduced as the successor to the Scram 411, faced an early production hiccup due to a faulty Woodruff key in the magneto assembly — a critical component that ensures proper engine function. This issue prompted Royal Enfield to temporarily suspend deliveries to avoid any compromise in rider safety.

Now, with corrective measures reportedly in place, the Scram 440 is poised to re-establish its presence in the market and continue its journey as a key player in the brand's lineup.
