Skoda Auto India is basking in the glory of a strong year so far, with 61,607 units sold between January and October 2025. This figure surpasses the company’s previous full-year sales of 53,721 units in CY2022, highlighting a robust growth trajectory for the brand. The key driver behind Skoda’s stellar year-to-date performance is the Kylaq, the brand’s first-ever sub-4-metre SUV. Since its launch earlier this year, the model has recorded nearly 40,000 units sold, reflecting its popularity among compact SUV buyers. In addition, Skoda’s performance is bolstered by the Kodiaq, Kushaq, and Slavia. The Kodiaq continues to lead the brand’s premium SUV lineup with healthy sales, while the Kushaq and Slavia remain consistent performers in their respective segments. The limited-run Octavia RS also generated an exceptional response, selling out within days of pre-bookings opening on October 6.
Skoda sold 8,252 units in October, marking its best-ever monthly sales. Compared to September’s 6,636 units, this was a 24.4% jump month-on-month. Skoda’s lineup in India spans across compact SUVs, premium sedans, and luxury 4x4 models. All of these cars help the brand to strengthen its position in the highly competitive Indian automotive market.
Skoda introduced limited-edition variants of the Kylaq, Kushaq, and Slavia, each capped at just 500 units and based on the top-spec trims, to celebrate 25 years in India. The special anniversary editions come with cosmetic changes and extra features without any price increase over the standard variants. The Kylaq Limited Edition, available on Prestige and Signature+ trims, adds puddle lamps, a 360-degree camera, and a distinctive ‘25 Skoda’ badge on the B-pillar, while retaining all premium features of the original trims.
